Nurturing the desire to remain active along STCP’s line 400 — that thread stitching Azevedo to the heart of the city of Porto — PELE returns with a plural and eclectic musical proposal that, once again, intertwines it with STCP and Lovers & Lollypops. Throughout 2025, on a monthly basis, we transform line 400 into a hybrid territory, where music weaves itself through the interstices of everyday life, turning ordinary journeys into an open door to the extraordinary. Between stops, sound settles in and invites us to listen to what is fleeting, as if discovering the infinite in an instant.

The rapprochement between Coletivo Febre and Pele seeks to structure a thought-action plan that enhances new dialectics for public space.
In the interdependence between artistic creation, architecture, urban furniture, and anthropology, multiple possibilities for the regeneration of space take shape, testing concrete explorations capable of contributing to the well-being of the neighborhood.
Thus, with the intervention territory defined as the access axis between Lagarteiro Station and Adega, the proposal is to recover functionalities, spatialities, and temporalities that can contribute to alternative experiences (between the symbolic and the practical) of daily life, in its political, social, and environmental dimensions.
“Vital cities have marvelous innate abilities for understanding, communicating, contriving, and inventing what is required to combat their difficulties... Lively, diverse, intense cities contain the seeds of their own regeneration, with energy enough to carry over for problems and needs outside themselves.”
Jane Jacobs, The Death and Life of Great American Cities

Study Group
InêsCarneiro, Janne Schöder and Simão Colares constitute the Study Group, an action-reflection collective that develops artistic creation proposals anchored in the local context, with the purpose of being presented on the 400 bus, which connects the city center of Porto to Azevedo. During 2021, four proposals were activated, proposing poetic disruptions in the daily lives of users of this line.
To transport
Performance #1
Six moss spheres were transported along the Aliados - Azevedo route. The proposal was to roam with this hybrid Being, transporting Azevedo's autochthonous elements across different geographies.
To distribute
Performance #2
In this performance, the attention of the passengers was asked to, delicately, offer them a gift. Inside the small envelopes were seeds and a poem.
To offer
Performance #3
Delivery of poetic messages to passengers. Each sentence written by the performers on a previously prepared paper, with a lichen drawing on one side, emerged as a possibility of love or conflict.
To occupy
Performance #4
Each performer inhabited a bus stop in Azevedo, in order to occupy and intervene in the space, with a view to rooting and (re)signifying the act of waiting.
Musical Cycle 400
Lovers&Lollypops assumed the curatorship of a musical cycle, taking place at 400, capable of enhancing the intersection between multiple communities in the city, and rehearsing a laboratory for experimentation on landscape.
